Poenoe and Joeloe rolled in the sunny yard, tumbling over sticks. A bright butterfly fluttered by, and Poenoe's ears perked up. "Catch it, catch it!" barked Joeloe, giggling. Poenoe dashed after the butterfly, squeezing through a gap in the fence before anyone noticed. "Wait for me!" Joeloe called, but Poenoe was already gone, bounding down the path, tail wagging with excitement, chasing the fluttering wings farther and farther from home.

Poenoe stopped running and looked around. Tall trees stood everywhere, and the yard was nowhere in sight. "Joeloe?" he whimpered, feeling small and scared. Suddenly, a fluffy rabbit named Nibbles hopped from behind a bush. "You look lost, little pup," she said kindly. Poenoe nodded, eyes wide. "Don't worry," Nibbles smiled, "I know these woods well. Follow me, and we'll find your way home together." Poenoe wagged his tail bravely.

Nibbles hopped ahead, guiding Poenoe past a wobbly log. "Careful, hop like this!" she said, showing him how. Poenoe jumped and landed with a happy bark. Next came a big puddle. "Go around, not through!" Nibbles laughed as Poenoe splashed anyway, soaking his paws. They giggled together, continuing on. Soon, Poenoe spotted a familiar fence in the distance. "That's my yard!" he yipped, tail spinning like a happy little windmill.

Poenoe raced through the gate, barking joyfully. Joeloe bounded over, tackling him with a happy tumble. "You're back! You're back!" she cheered. Poenoe turned to thank Nibbles, but the little rabbit had already hopped away with a wink. "I made a new friend," Poenoe told Joeloe, snuggling close. Together, they curled up under the warm sun, grateful for adventures, brave hearts, and the cozy comfort of home.
