Orhan, in a yellow shirt with dots and black pants, and Emir, in a blue striped shirt and narrow white pants, stack sticks into a towering fort on a sunny street, their faces lit with laughter.
Orhan and Emir raced down the street. Two best friends with matching feet. They found some sticks and stacked them high, building a fort that touched the sky. "Let's guard this fort with all our might!" said Emir, ready for a knight's fight. Orhan laughed and grabbed a stick. "En garde!" he cried, so fast and quick. They played all day beneath the sun, two best friends having so much fun. When evening came, they shook their hands. "Best friends forever," their promise stands.
Orhan, in a yellow shirt with dots and black pants, and Emir, in a blue striped shirt and narrow white pants, grab the same toy and pull fiercely; the toy cracks in half, Orhan's eyes glistening with tears.
One day the friends both wanted the same toy. Orhan grabbed it first, oh what a ploy! "That's mine!" cried Emir, stomping his feet. "No, I had it first!" said Orhan, feeling the heat. They pulled and tugged until it snapped in two. "Now look what happened," said Emir, "because of you!" Orhan felt sad, his eyes turned wet. "I'm sorry, Emir, I don't want to fret." Emir sighed and looked away. "Maybe we should talk another day."
Orhan, in his yellow shirt with dots and black pants, and Emir, in a blue striped shirt and narrow white pants, sit together, grinning as they carefully tape a toy back together, a brand-new toy nearby on the table.
The next day, Orhan brought a brand new toy. "I fixed the tape—see, it's not destroyed!" Emir grinned wide and gave a happy shout. "I'm sorry too, I shouldn't pout." They shook their hands and shared a laugh. "Friends forgive each other, that's the path." They taped the broken toy back together. "Now it's stronger, built to weather!" Orhan cheered, "Together we're the best!" Emir nodded, "Yes, better than the rest!" Their friendship grew stronger than before.
Orhan, in his yellow shirt with dots and black pants, and Emir, in his blue striped shirt and narrow white pants, build a larger fort beneath a sunny sky, laughing together as they place the final stick.
From that day on, they understood, friendship means being kind and good. Through ups and downs, they stuck like glue, "Best friends forever, me and you!" Orhan hugged Emir with a grin. "No matter what, we'll always win." They built a bigger fort that day, with room enough for games and play. They laughed and cheered beneath the sky, two best friends who'd never say goodbye. Hand in hand, they walked back home, forever friends, never alone.
