Lani found a shiny horseshoe magnet. "I bet it pulls everything!" Beni said. They tested paper clips, buttons, and a cookie. Clips jumped; buttons waited; the cookie didn’t move.

"Maybe it pulls metal," Lani guessed. They tried a nail, a spoon, and a block; only the metal clicked. "So, not everything—still magical," Beni said. "Let’s learn more," Lani grinned.

Beni found another magnet in the box. "Watch the ends," he said. One end pulled; the other pushed like a little shove. "Opposites attract!" Lani cheered, making a paper-clip chain.

They slid the magnet under paper, racing a paper-clip bug. "Go, go!" Beni steered around doodled obstacles. "Magnets pull certain metals," Lani said, grinning. They high-fived and planned tomorrow’s magnet maze.
