One starry night in Makkah, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ rested after a long day. Suddenly, Angel Jibreel appeared with wonderful news! "Come," said Jibreel gently, "Allah has a special journey for you." Outside waited Buraq, a shining white steed with great wings, faster than lightning. Prophet Muhammad ﷺ climbed onto Buraq's back, and together they soared through the night sky, all the way to Jerusalem, to the sacred Al-Aqsa Mosque.

At Al-Aqsa Mosque, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ met many prophets from long ago, like Musa and Isa. Together, they all prayed to Allah, side by side. Then Jibreel led Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to a glowing ladder of light called the Mi'raj. "Let us rise higher," said Jibreel, "through the heavens, to meet Allah." Up they went, past clouds and stars, through gates of light, each heaven more beautiful than the last.

Higher and higher they climbed, until Prophet Muhammad ﷺ reached the highest heaven, closer to Allah than anyone before. There, Allah spoke kindly to him and gave a precious gift: five daily prayers for all believers. "Tell your people to pray five times each day," Allah said, "and I will always be near them." Prophet Muhammad ﷺ felt his heart fill with joy and gratitude for this beautiful gift of faith.

Before the sun rose, Buraq carried Prophet Muhammad ﷺ swiftly back to Makkah. When morning came, he told everyone about his amazing night journey to Jerusalem and the heavens above. Some people doubted, but his dear friend Abu Bakr said, "I believe you completely!" This wonderful story reminds us to trust Allah, pray with love, and know that faith can carry us through any journey, near or far.
