Clouds and Sunshine

As the day went on, something amazing happened. The sky began to change colors! Orange, pink, and purple filled the sky. "The sun is setting," Luna said, watching closely. This was called sunset. Daytime was ending, and nighttime was coming. Luna felt excited. "What colors do you see now?" she asked. She wrote, "Sunset makes the sky colorful." Luna wondered what the sky would look like in the dark.

The Sky Turns Orange

Now the sky was dark. Luna looked up and gasped. A round, glowing moon appeared. Tiny, twinkling stars filled the sky too. "Hello, nighttime sky!" Luna said happily. She compared her notes. "Daytime has the sun and blue sky. Nighttime has the moon and stars!" Luna smiled at the sky. "You can observe the sky too," she said. "Go outside and see what you notice, just like a real scientist!"
