Angel's teacher, Miss Lane, clapped her hands. "We're doing a school play!" she said. Angel's eyes grew wide. "I want to be in it!" she said. Miss Lane smiled and gave her a bunny part. Angel hugged her script tight. But when she thought about the stage, her tummy felt funny. Could she really do this?

At rehearsal, Angel stood on the stage. Everyone looked at her. Her knees wobbled like jelly. "I forgot my line," she whispered. Miss Lane knelt beside her. "It's okay, Angel. Let's practice together," she said kindly. Angel took a deep breath. She tried again, softer this time. It was still scary, but a tiny bit easier.

During practice, Angel started hopping like a real bunny. She wiggled her nose and flopped her ears. Miss Lane laughed with delight. "Angel, you're a wonderful hopper!" she said. Angel giggled and hopped again, forgetting to be scared. She found her hidden talent — she could make everyone smile. Maybe the stage wasn't so scary after all.

On play night, the lights were bright. Angel's heart thumped, but she remembered her hop. She hopped onto the stage and wiggled her nose. The audience laughed and clapped happily. Angel smiled wide and said her lines clearly. Miss Lane gave her a thumbs up backstage. Angel had found her courage — and her bounce.
