Sunlight peeked through the window as Lilo and Lila woke up giggling. Mama walked in smiling brightly. "Good morning, my loves!" she said, wrapping them both in a big, warm hug. Lilo laughed and hugged her back tightly. Lila gave Papa a cheerful high-five as he waved hello. "I love Mama's hugs," said Lila happily. Warm, gentle touches like hugs and high-fives always made the twins feel happy, loved, and safe inside.

At the sunny playground, Lilo and Lila played tag with their friends, laughing loudly. After winning a race, Lilo's friend patted his shoulder kindly. "Great job!" he cheered with a big smile. Lila and her friend linked arms, giggling together under the slide. "Friendly touches feel nice," Lila said happily. The twins smiled, knowing that safe touches, like pats, hugs, and high-fives, always make everyone feel good and comfortable together.

While playing near the swings, a boy grabbed Lila's arm too hard and pulled her roughly. "Ow! Stop!" Lila shouted, yanking her arm away quickly. She felt scared and her tummy hurt inside. Lilo rushed over right away. "That's not okay!" he said firmly, standing beside his sister. Lila remembered what Mama taught her: touches that hurt or scare you are never alright, and it is always good to say "No!"

Lilo and Lila ran straight home and told Mama everything that happened. Mama knelt down and hugged them both gently. "You did the right thing by saying no and telling me," she said proudly. "Always remember—safe touches feel kind, and unsafe touches feel wrong. You can always come talk to me." The twins nodded, smiling, feeling brave, safe, and loved once again.
