Cady laced her boots. "Ready for our hike?" she asked. Max wagged his tail. Milah barked happily. They walked up the green trail, sniffing flowers and chasing leaves. Suddenly, Milah stopped. A shiny blue circle glowed between two trees. "What is that?" Cady whispered. Max sniffed it curiously. The circle shimmered like water. Before Cady could grab their leashes, Milah hopped through it. "Milah, wait!" Cady cried, following quickly with Max close behind.

Cady blinked. They were not on the trail anymore. Blue light danced around them, and fish swam overhead! "We're inside an aquarium," Cady gasped. Max barked at a passing turtle. Milah pressed her nose to the glass, watching silver fish swirl by. A seahorse floated near her tail, making her jump back. "This is amazing," Cady laughed, forgetting to be scared. The dogs trotted along the glowing tunnel, tails wagging with excitement.

A little crab scuttled across their path. Max tilted his head, puzzled. The crab clicked its claws and scooted sideways under a rock. Milah pawed at a bubble floating by, popping it with a tiny splash. Cady giggled. "You two are braver than me," she said. They walked past glowing jellyfish that pulsed like lanterns. Everything sparkled with color. Cady wondered how they would find their way back home again.

Milah spotted the shimmering portal near a coral archway. "There it is!" Cady cheered. Max barked happily, running toward it. Together, they stepped through the glowing circle. Suddenly, they were back on the hiking trail, sunlight warming their faces. "What an adventure," Cady said, hugging both dogs. Max licked her cheek. Milah wagged her tail proudly. They walked home slowly, already dreaming about their next magical hike together.
