Tommy jumped out of bed, grinning. "Stitch, it's Halloween!" he shouted. Stitch barked and wagged his curly tail. Outside, orange leaves swirled, and pumpkins grinned from every porch. "Tonight we go trick-or-treating!" Tommy said. But first, he needed the perfect costume. Stitch tilted his head, waiting eagerly by the closet door.

Tommy dragged a big box from the closet. Inside were masks, capes, and silly hats. "So many choices!" he said, scratching his head. Stitch sniffed a pirate hat and sneezed loudly. Tommy laughed. "Okay, Stitch, help me pick!" He pulled out a shiny cape first, holding it up with excitement.

Tommy wore the cape and struck a hero pose. "I'm Super Tommy!" he shouted. Stitch barked and jumped, knocking over a lamp. Tommy giggled, catching it just in time. "Maybe not this one," he said, sighing. Stitch licked his cheek, as if agreeing it wasn't quite right for tonight's adventure.

Next, Tommy tied a bandana and found an eye patch. "Arrr, I'm a pirate!" he said. Stitch tried on a tiny hat but shook it off instantly. It flopped onto Tommy's foot. They both laughed. "Guess pirates aren't for you, buddy," Tommy said, patting Stitch's curly brown fur gently.

Tommy squeezed into a dinosaur costume and roared loudly. Stitch barked back, startled. Tommy took one big step and tripped over the long tail. "Whoa!" he yelped, tumbling onto the rug. Stitch pounced, licking his face. Tommy laughed. "Okay, definitely not a dinosaur," he said, standing up slowly.

Tommy flopped onto his bed, costumes scattered everywhere. "I just can't decide, Stitch," he sighed. Stitch trotted over, carrying his favorite bone toy in his mouth. Tommy blinked. "A bone? Wait... that gives me an idea!" He grabbed paper and crayons, sketching excitedly while Stitch wagged his curly tail happily.

Tommy found an old purple robe and silver star hat in the closet. "I'll be a wizard!" he announced proudly. He twirled around, robe swishing. Stitch barked, spinning in a happy circle too. "Now we just need something perfect for you," Tommy said, looking at his furry best friend thoughtfully.

Tommy cut a tiny star hat and tied a little cape around Stitch. "You're my wizard dog!" he said. Stitch pranced around, tail wagging fast. They looked in the mirror together, laughing at their matching sparkly outfits. "Perfect!" Tommy cheered. Finally, their Halloween costumes were ready for adventure outside.

Tommy grabbed his candy bag, and Stitch trotted beside him. They knocked on the first door. "Trick or treat!" Tommy shouted happily. A neighbor smiled, dropping candy into his bag. Stitch barked politely, getting a treat too. "This is the best night ever," Tommy said, skipping to the next house.

As they walked, a shadow moved behind a bush, rustling loudly. Tommy froze, gripping his wizard hat. Stitch growled softly, then sniffed the bush. Out popped a fluffy black cat, meowing. Tommy laughed with relief. "Just a kitty, Stitch! Nothing scary here." They continued down the street, giggling together.

By the last house, Tommy's bag overflowed with chocolates and lollipops. Stitch carried a small treat bag too, tail wagging proudly. "We make a great team," Tommy said, kneeling to hug his dog. Stitch licked his nose happily. The streetlights glowed warm as they headed home, tired but joyful.

Back home, Tommy poured candy onto his bed, sorting it with Stitch watching closely. "Best Halloween ever, right buddy?" Tommy whispered. Stitch yawned, curling beside him in his wizard cape. Tommy smiled, turning off the lamp. "Goodnight, Stitch," he said softly, drifting to sleep in happy, candy-filled dreams.
